Solutions

WasteDigest is a cost effective solution that addresses two primary challenges, namely organic waste management and the generation of energy.
Turn Yesterday’s leftovers into today’s energy

The Biofuel Access Africa WasteDigest system is a modular tough and portable Bio-digester that converts waste to energy. WasteDigest can generate up to six hours of free cooking gas daily.

Simply insert your waste into the digester via the inlet funnel and WasteDigest does the rest.

How and why WasteDigest works

WasteDigest is a cost effective solution that addresses two primary challenges, namely organic waste management and the generation of energy.

Through the process of anaerobic digestion, organic matter such as food waste and animal manure is broken down by bacteria and with the absence of oxygen produces biogas.

A third benefit of the system is that it also generates rich Bio Fertiliser excellent for healthy plant growth.

Amazingly the amount of fertiliser generated is equal to the waste mass added to the system.

Simply put, using WasteDigest means no waste!

This system offers an excellent return on investment over a short payback period.
